RAD Services, the Birmingham - based commercial & domestic window
Installation Company,
has recently been accredited to the Constructionline pre-qualification
system.
Widely used and often requested by public sector specifiers, Constructionline
is a universally
recognised accreditation system. In order to qualify, RAD had to pass
stringent checks on a range
of issues including its financial status, equal opportunities of employment
and its health and safety
procedures. It was also required to provide references from previous
contracts.
All of these criteria were met and passed with flying colours.

RAD Director - Glenn Rivers commented:
"For a small company that was started just
18 months ago, to achieve Constructionline
accreditation in such a short space of time is
a real achievement. It has already begun to
pay dividends in opening up opportunities to
tender for work that we would otherwise have
missed. It is also a big step forward towards
our aim of achieving Contractor Health & Safety
assessment scheme or 'CHAS' accreditation.
We aim to achieve this by the end of the year
and when we do it will provide a significant
boost to our chances of successfully winning
new business from public sector clients."
In addition to their activities in the commercial
sector, RAD also runs a successful Window
Installers Warehouse (WIW) trade counter.
They work closely with their supplier -
Advantage Trade Supplies Ltd. Advantage is
one of the UK's largest fabricators of Rehau 70
and Spectus Elite 70 frames & K2 conservatory
rooms. Glenn Rivers concludes: "With the

we can tender for new contracts knowing that
we have a reliable source of supply and
a top quality range of products."
